UNDERGRADUATE COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT! Closes Aug 31st

I am so excited to announce my first undergraduate competition.....

I am super excited to announce my first ever student competition open to all undergraduates. If any of you have tuned into any of the webinars I have delivered recently, my #syndromesundays, or follow me on Instagram, you will know I am so passionate about making sure the whole profession knows about special care dentistry and what my speciality gets up to.

When I was a dental student, I had absolutely no clue what special care dentistry was, in fact I don't even recall it being mentioned once in my training. It was only my experiences post graduation that exposed me to vulnerable groups and this speciality. But with the population of special care groups, or those with additional needs, on the rise... shouldn't we be preparing our future workforce in managing these patients?

So I'm announcing a blog competition (NOT an essay!) to discuss the following question....

"Why should Special Care Dentistry be part of the Undergraduate Curriculum?"

Entry requirements:
  • Blog post style, 500-800 words length
  • Open to all current UK undergraduate dental students, including DCPs and those who have graduated this year
  • Deadline for entries Midnight 31st August 2020
  • Entries to be sent via my contact page or email address natb990@hotmail.com
  • Joint submissions will be accepted

The best entries will be published on the blog, with the winner getting ONE HOUR OF FREE ONE ON ONE PERSONAL COACHING WITH ME! To read more about coaching, see here.

I will also work closely with the winner to hopefully adapt the blog into a paper to be submitted for publication in a journal... exciting times!

So.... get blogging!!
